Privacy Policy — Bubble Blower
Last updated: 11 September 2026
Bubble Blower ("the Game", "we", "us") is published by Konfeti Games, contact konfetigames@gmail.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. If you create an account, we receive your email address, or an identifier from Apple or Google if you sign in with them. You may also choose a display name, which is shown to other players on the leaderboards, in matches and on challenges you send.
Information the Game generates as you play. Your best time and ring run score, your daily bubble results, your bot league stars, in-game soap balance, unlocked and selected cosmetics, daily goals and streak, matches played, game modes chosen, shop visits, purchases, and how you respond to permission prompts and adverts.
Challenges. If you challenge a friend, the Game uploads the path your bubble took in that run — its position ten times a second, never any audio — together with your display name and your time. Anyone with the code or link can play against it, and their name and time are sent back to you.
Technical and device information. Device model, operating system version, app version, language, country or region, a randomly generated app instance identifier, and — where you allow it — your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android). Our advertising and analytics partners also receive your IP address, from which approximate location (such as country or city) can be inferred.
Region. The Game records a two-letter region code so that regional leaderboards work. This is read from your device's language and region setting. The Game never requests or uses location services.
Microphone. The Game listens to your microphone to measure how hard you are blowing. It measures loudness only. Audio is never recorded, never stored and never transmitted. Nothing derived from the sound of your voice leaves your device.
2. How we use it
- To run the Game: saving progress, syncing it to your account, matching you with another player, and showing leaderboards.
- To understand how the Game is played and how well it performs — including retention, session length, mode popularity, and where players stop playing — and to build reports, segments and models from that data.
- To operate our economy and store, and to process and restore purchases.
- To select, deliver, cap, personalise and measure advertising, and to estimate its effectiveness and value.
- To detect and prevent cheating, abuse, fraud and technical failures.
- To develop, test and improve the Game and future products.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We analyse this data as we see fit for the purposes above, including by combining it across sessions and devices linked to the same account, and by producing aggregated or de-identified statistics that we may keep and use indefinitely.
3. Who we share it with
- Google (Firebase) — authentication, database and analytics.
- AppLovin and its mediated advertising partners, including Google AdMob — advertising delivery, measurement and attribution.
- Apple and Google — purchases made through the App Store or Google Play.
- Other players — only your display name, your best time or score and your region code, on the leaderboards (timed run, ring run, daily bubble) and during matches; and, if you send a challenge, your name, time and bubble path to the people who open it.
- Authorities or acquirers — where required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
We do not sell your data as a standalone product. Some advertising activity may count as "sharing" or "sale" under certain US state laws; where it does, you may opt out as described in section 5.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Contract, for running the Game and your account. Legitimate interests, for security, product improvement and non-personalised advertising measurement. Consent, for personalised advertising and the associated identifiers — you give this through the consent prompt shown after your first match, and you can change it at any time in your device settings.
5. Your choices
- Advertising identifier. iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Android: Settings → Google → Ads. You can turn tracking off or reset the identifier at any time. The Game still works; adverts become less relevant.
- Consent. Where a consent form is shown, you can change your answer from your device's privacy settings for this app.
- Microphone. You can revoke microphone access in system settings. The Game cannot be played by blowing without it.
- Account and data deletion. Account tab → Delete my account. This removes your account, your cloud progress and your leaderboard entries. You can also write to konfetigames@gmail.com and we will action it.
- Access and portability. Write to konfetigames@gmail.com and we will provide a copy of the data held against your account.
- No account. You can play without ever creating one. In that case nothing is stored against a real-world identity.
6. Retention
Account data and progress are kept while your account exists and are deleted when you delete it. Leaderboard entries, including daily boards, are deleted with the account. Challenges expire after 7 days: after that they cannot be played, they are deleted when your game is next opened or when anyone tries to open the expired code, and the code may be reused for a new challenge. Challenges you created and results you sent are also deleted with your account. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months in identifiable form; aggregated statistics may be kept indefinitely. Advertising partners retain data under their own policies.
7. Age (13+)
The Game is made for a general audience and is rated for teen players (13+). It is not directed to children, it takes part in no kids or family programme on any store, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, write to konfetigames@gmail.com and we will delete it.
8. International transfers
Our database is hosted in the European Union (europe-west1). Our partners may process data in other countries, including the United States, under the transfer safeguards described in their own policies.
9. Changes
We will update this page and change the date above. Material changes will be announced in the Game.
